Embarrassing moment 1:
Embarrassing moment when I was watching porn once late at night. My laptop died while watching porn so I just decided to sleep. I totally forgot about charging it the next morning when I woke up.
Next morning I had a presentation for my Circuits class in front of the professor, 2 TAs, and the assistant director of the program I was part of.
I opened my laptop, realized it was dead, and plugged it in. About 10 seconds after I plugged the charger, moaning sounds from the lesbian porn I was watching started coming out of my laptop in a moderately high volume, and I realized I was DEAD.
The Professor looked confused and slightly mad, the assistant director was looking in a different direction, and one of the TAs was trying really hard not to laugh.
I was trying to log in to laptop to mute it, but since it was dead, it was taking time to let me in. At that moment, I didn’t think to mute it by clicking the keyboard button, which I consider to be one of my biggest mistakes I have ever made.
I was trying to be as calm and nonchalant as possible, but it is extremely hard to seem calm while loud moaning sounds are coming from your laptop.
By the time I was able to mute and exit from the window, I think I lost 10 pounds from sweat. No one said anything about it, and I started my presentation.
I just couldn’t present in front of them, so I ended my presentation abruptly before I even reached for my main project.
I never could look them in the eyes anymore. That semester was pure torture.
Embarrassing moment 2:
This Embarrassing moment happened to me a few days back in a class at IIMA: Prof. caught me and a female friend sitting together in the same seat and exclaimed, “Yeh kya! Khullam Khulla (in the open)!”, while the entire class of 180 students bursts out laughing.
Recently, two sections had a combined class. Since a class is designed for a section of 90 students, there was a lack of chairs. Extra chairs had been placed at all places in the class.
I was sitting next to a female friend X. X’s best friend Y, who was from the other section, wanted to sit with X. Only the chairs at the front of the class were unoccupied, and I did not want to get up and go to the front. So Y and I decided to sit in the same chair. We didn’t think the prof would notice as there was already twice the number of students in the class, and some students were even sitting on the floor.
After around 40 minutes, i.e. halfway through the class, the prof. suddenly stared at us for some time and then asked, “Are you two sitting in the same seat?”
When we didn’t reply, he said, “Yeh kya! Khullam khulla!” (What is this? In the open!)
The whole class was laughing. 180 students laughing like crazy. Since Y didn’t get up, I had to get up. I moved towards the front row, at the corner seat.
But the prof. was not going to let go of me so easily. He asked me to sit right at the center of the class in a special seat, saying he would not trust me sitting behind his back.
And that was still not the end of it. After a few minutes, he teased me again asking if I want to go back to the seat!
Definitely the most embarrassing moment of my life till date! And I am sure my friends will not let me forget this incident ever.
