Pakistan the Lost Generation, In This documentary they pointed out the real facts about our education and things we do as a nation. How much we are suffering as a nation we don’t bother what is happening in our surroundings and what our elected people and bureaucracy is actually doing. We kept on taking aids and funds from different developed countries in the name of improvement and empowering our people but usually this not happen. We take money from them but at the same time, we keep cursing them.
Our system is not stable at all it revolves around personalities. Corrupt mafia is ruling everywhere they are not worried about the children who are unable to go school for basic education at the same the people who try to work for them they discourage them they used to threaten them, misguide them and if they get a chance they loot money as much as they can. They are non-professional people who are handling our education department they have no idea about at all. They do empty promises they never considered the voice of common man. They are not stakeholders most of our bureaucracy and Politicians have dual nationality. Their own children are not studying and they are not suffering so they don’t have any type of pain for the common person.
Even in 2018, Over 20 Million children are not going to school. The main problem is poverty we have to overcome poverty otherwise the situation will remain same. Most schools do not have the basic infrastructure at the same time problem of quality education, no learning till grade 12th.G government institutes are overcrowded and they are still following a very old pattern.
Watching this documentary no one can feel good about our system. We are nowhere in the world, the people who are trying to push us we call them our enemies. The overall situation is very much alarming, where we are moving still we are suffering in giving basic education. How can we think about advanced or experimental education when our 20 million children cannot afford basic education? Level of education is so low in our country, discrimination in education, gender discrimination in education. Child labor is one of the biggest issues in this regard.
There are many stories where young boys and girls are working just for food. Government is not helping or facilitating them so they are working to run their homes, in such circumstances how can they study? Can we blame them?
