Feudalism, Shah Mehmood Qureshi’s best attribute

Shah Mehmood Qureshi who belong from wealthy, political and religious family, who has been active since the 80’s. The first time he was elected in 1985 as MPA, he served on the various position in Punjab provincial assembly, after that he been part of National assembly from 2002.

After the resignation from his ministry in 2011 he joined Pakistan Tahreek e Insaaf and became Vice Chairman of Party. In 2013 election he contested from 4 National assembly seats two from Multan and other two from Sindh i.e. NA-148, NA150, NA228, and NA230. He was able to win only NA150 and all three he lost by very less margin. Many party leaders said that “He has given tickets to his closed ones in Election 2013” On the other hand rivalry between Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Javed Hashmi, later Shah group vs Tareen Group.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi now in Election 2018, he is again going to contest election from two seats from Sindh 1 from Multan and he tried his best to get a ticket from Lahore as well. This time he is going to contest election from the Provincial seat as well because he is thinking of becoming CM if PTI gets a majority in the assembly.

His Son Zain Qureshi got a ticket from Multan and his nephew Pir Zahoor Hussain Qureshi also got the ticket from NA-152 Khanewal. The opponent of his nephew Pir Aslam Bodla a typical Electable who is winning from this constituency constantly was ready to join Pakistan Tahreek e Insaaf but Shah Mehmood Qureshi refused to take him because his own nephew was a candidate from this constituency. Moreover from the same constituency his nephew Pir Haider Zaman Qureshi is also going to contest the election on PPP ticket. Shah Mehmood has already conflict with his brother and his nephew Haider Zaman Qureshi so he wanted to defeat them with the help of his other nephew.
